This successful certification signifies that Changhui Steering has successfully established a compliant and comprehensive automotive cybersecurity management process system, possessing the product development and delivery capabilities required by automotive cybersecurity standards, thus safeguarding the information security of the company's EPS steering products and on-board electronic control systems.
ISO/SAE 21434 is the world's first universal standard for automotive cybersecurity for road vehicles, covering the entire lifecycle of cybersecurity management requirements for vehicles, components, and on-board interfaces. It serves as a core evaluation criterion for compliance supervision and supply-demand cooperation in the intelligent vehicle industry. To achieve its certification goals, Changhui Steering, under the full guidance of the SGS professional team, collaborated across multiple departments including R&D, quality, and information management. Leveraging over a decade of experience in the automotive steering field, and combining its existing mature product development processes and quality management system, the company completed the compilation of over a hundred cybersecurity-specific technical documents, streamlined processes, and implemented the system. Ultimately, it passed the SGS Germany certification center audit on its first attempt, achieving successful certification.
