Product Description
23488881
The 3935002710 crankshaft position sensor is a Hall-effect precision sensing component exclusively for VW Group 1.2 HTP gasoline engines. Mounted on engine cylinder block, it collects real-time crankshaft rotating speed & angular position signals and transmits digital pulse signals to ECU. Based on feedback data, ECU accurately controls fuel injection timing and ignition sequence, guaranteeing smooth cold startup, stable idle speed, optimized fuel consumption and lowered exhaust pollutants. It is a direct OE replacement spare compatible with Volkswagen, Skoda, Seat small-displacement vehicles.

Key Features
-
OEM Direct Fit: Strictly manufactured matching OE specification of part No.3935002710, identical original mounting hole dimension, connector outline and built-in sealing ring, plug-and-play installation without extra modification or adapter.
-
High-stability Hall Chip: Adopts automotive-grade Hall sensing core, ultra-fast signal response, stable square-wave output, effectively avoid signal loss under fluctuating engine speed.
-
Wide Temp & Oil Resistance: High-temperature PA66 plastic housing plus internal oil-proof coating, stable performance against engine oil splash and drastic temperature variation, long service lifespan without signal drift.
-
Built-in Anti-interference Circuit: Integrated shielding circuit inside sensor body, effectively filter electromagnetic interference from ignition coil and alternator to ensure reliable ECU communication under severe vibration.
-
Full QC Inspection per IATF16949: Every finished product undergoes waveform output test, high-low temperature cycling test and vibration durability inspection before warehouse release.
Performance Indicators
-
Signal Response Speed: Standard Hall-type sensor instantly captures tooth pulse from crank trigger wheel; contaminated or aging sensor causes signal delay leading to hard cold start.
-
Digital Output Waveform: Qualified part outputs neat square digital signal; defective unit appears intermittent missing pulse and triggers engine fault code P0335/P0336.
-
Operating Ambient Adaptability: Normal working range covers full engine working temperature; inferior parts fail signal output under extreme low temperature or overheat.
-
Rated Service Life: Normal effective service mileage: 70,000~140,000 KM, service life shortened by engine oil leakage, excessive dust and high engine operating temperature.
-
Input Rated Voltage: Standard 5V DC power supply from vehicle ECU, overvoltage will burn internal Hall chip permanently.

39350-02800, ADG07237, 3935002710
Installation Notes
-
Always disconnect vehicle battery before installation to prevent ECU circuit burnout.
-
Wipe mounting base on cylinder block to clear residual oil and dirt for flat fitting and good sealing.
-
Do not knock or scratch front sensing probe during mounting; collision will damage internal Hall chip permanently.
-
After installation, connect OBD diagnostic scanner to erase related crankshaft sensor fault codes and test cold & hot engine startup.Replace
-
sensor when encountering no-crank no-start, intermittent stalling, rough idle or illuminated engine malfunction warning lamp.
