Product Description

NSC000310L

The NSC000310L camshaft position sensor (CMP) is a high-precision Hall-effect sensing component specially designed for gasoline and diesel vehicle engines. It is mounted on the cylinder head near the camshaft, capturing the real-time rotational position and speed signal of the camshaft. The sensor converts mechanical camshaft rotation into stable digital pulse signals and transmits them to the vehicle ECU. Based on accurate camshaft position data, the ECU precisely controls fuel injection timing, ignition sequence and valve timing, guaranteeing smooth engine startup, stable idle operation, improved power output and reduced exhaust emissions. This unit is a direct OE replacement part matching vehicle models that require the NSC000310L factory specification.

Key Features

  • OEM Direct Fit: Fully manufactured to match original OE standard NSC000310L, consistent mounting hole layout, internal Hall chip matching

  • size and original wiring connector. Plug-and-play installation without cutting wires, drilling or extra modification.

  • High-stability Hall Sensing Chip: Adopts imported anti-interference Hall core component, providing clear, non-distorted pulse signals without signal loss or signal offset under long-term operation.

  • Sealed High-Temperature Resistant Housing: Reinforced engineering plastic shell with fully enclosed internal sealing structure, resistant to engine oil vapor, dust, high temperature and water splashing, maintaining consistent performance under harsh engine compartment conditions.

  • Excellent Anti-Vibration & Anti-Interference Performance: Built-in shielding coil and filter circuit, effectively offsetting electromagnetic interference from ignition coils and alternators; stable signal output under continuous engine vibration.

  • Strict Automotive-Grade Quality Control: Produced in compliance with IATF 16949 automotive quality management system. Every sensor undergoes full-cycle signal testing, high-low temperature alternating aging test, waterproof test and long-time vibration durability inspection before delivery.

Performance Indicators

  • Working Voltage Range: 12V DC standard vehicle power supply; overvoltage will permanently damage internal sensing chip.
  • Signal Output Form: Digital square wave pulse signal; abnormal weak or missing pulses will trigger engine fault codes.
  • Operating Temperature Scope: -40℃ ~ +150℃, adapts to extreme cold and high engine operating temperature.
  • Signal Accuracy Tolerance: Position error ≤ ±0.5°, ensures accurate ignition and injection timing control.
  • Service Life: Normal service mileage reaches 100,000 – 180,000 kilometers; service life will shorten under frequent high-load driving and oil contamination.
  • Waterproof Rating: IP67 sealed structure, prevents rainwater, cleaning liquid and oil mist from penetrating internal components.

Installation Notes

  • Disconnect the vehicle battery negative terminal before installation to avoid ECU circuit short circuit and electronic component burnout.

  • Clean the mounting surface of the cylinder head thoroughly to remove oil sludge and metal debris before installing the sensor.

  • Align the sensor mounting hole with the original fixed position and tighten the fixing bolt evenly with moderate torque; do not use brute force to squeeze the housing.

  • Avoid strong impact, bending or scratching the wiring harness during installation, which may cause internal wire breakage.

After installation, start the engine and use a vehicle diagnostic scanner to erase historical fault codes, then test the real-time camshaft signal data to confirm normal operation.

  • Replace this sensor promptly if you encounter hard engine starting, intermittent stalling, weak acceleration, increased fuel consumption or illuminated engine malfunction indicator light.
